1. Pilot telephone number for new flightplans

The pilot telephone number used for new flightplans is now taken from an additional field in the "Personal Data":

 

Please note: this field has been removed from the "Aircraft Basic Data"! You will have to insert it into the new field before routing a new flightplan next time! After inserting and saving it please logout and login again once to make these changes effective.

 

2. Alternate IFR Airports offered by MT-BlitzPlan

Click on the "NEAR" button next to an alternate field and get proposals for up to 5 IFR alternate aiports within a radius of 200nm and information regarding the length of the runway (in meter, if available).

 

 

3. Direct Distance DEPT-DEST

Insert Departure and Destination Airport in your flightplan and you will immediately get the Direct Distance - without spending credits for routing. Very helpful for any kind of calculation.

 

4. Fuel Calculation

In the Weight & Balance section of the flightplan documentation you can now fill the fuel in lbs or alternatively in Liter. MT-BlitzPlan will recalculate the values correspondingly.

 

 

5. Originator of flightplans

The name of "Pilot in Command" in the flightplan will be transmitted to the flightplan documentation (pdf-file). Sometimes this information is needed for ramp checks.

 

6. Routing > 5 days in advance

From 01.01.2015 on you will be able to route your flightplan max. 1 month in advance.

Please note:

even if no change is made the flightplan will have to be rerouted and validated at Eurocontrol <= 5 days before DOF (regulation of Eurocontrol). 3 Credits will be charged.
